It all started with the realisation that while P2P fundraising was exploding in the USA and the UK, the rest of Europe was seriously lacking behind.
Our initial idea was a fundraising platform, which we launched in 2011. The first 100 fundraisers were recruited face-to-face at Sunday marathon training in Copenhagen. We gained a valuable understanding of the concept during the first few years through very hands-on experiences.
But we made one crucial error by focusing on being a platform.
Our customers have amazing brands and storytelling power. They have better contact with their supports than we do and need to own the supporter relation to build long term relations.
Why relegate that to the sideline, when charities need and deserve the spotlight?
That is why our focus today is on providing amazing white label solutions for nonprofits customers, where we are in the background and they have the spotlight.
We strive to be an incredible innovative partner to charities, providing the best supporter experience possible.
We strive toward building solutions with help of the latest technology advances such as machine learning and fluent payments systems while keeping it simple for both charities and supporters alike.
With over 10 years of experience in P2P fundraising, we can finally state that Europe no longer needs to be behind the USA and the UK.
And enabling anyone to start a fundraiser is the first step to achieving this goal. We believe that if we can change the way fundraising is perceived, we can help more of the world’s wealth to be donated to charities.
